Cielo's Sue Marks named to SIA Global Power 150 - Women in Staffing

Sue Marks, Cielo’s Founder and CEO, is featured on Staffing Industry Analysts’ “Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing” list for 2018. The list consists of 150 notable women – 100 from the Americas and 50 from other regions of the world – who influence the rapidly evolving workplace.

The list had previously been known as the Global Power 100, but expanded to 150 this year as SIA wanted to expand recognition and celebration of women in the industry.

SIA writes, “Women account for 58% of the American workforce, according to the US Department of Labor, but they are significantly outnumbered when it comes to leadership positions at top companies. Our industry is not that different. While women dominate the industry at the branch-office level, these numbers are not reflected in our C-Suites. For instance, our 2018 Staffing 100 hovers at around 20% women – there were 20 women on it in 2018, while our 2017 list included 22.”

Sue Marks has been featured on every SIA list for which she’s been eligible, including The Staffing 100 – North America lists from 2016-18, and the previous Global Power 100 from 2015-17.

SIA writes that her “visionary thinking, creative problem solving and ability to motivate and inspire people are the foundation of Cielo’s corporate culture and client relationships.
